RhinoF.X Sound Samples Sound Samples are recorded in 16 bit and 8 bit stereo sound and are created by Grant Freeman. This is the second installment of RhinoFX SND files. INSTALLATION: For system 7 alert beeps: To install sound files, make sure all applications are closed and select and drag the sound file to the system folder. A dialog box will ask you for aknowledgement of destination. Click ok. Instructions for installing the sound as a start-up sound: Step 1. Simply open your system folder and press an "s" on your keyboard(without the quotes. This will automaticly highlight the first folder in your system file that starts with an "s". Cool, huh? Step 2. Now you should see a folder called "Startup items". Click and drag the sound file you want over that folder and realease the mouse button. Step 3. As a precausion, check to make sure you have activated the items located in the startup items folder. TESTING THE SYSTEM SOUND: If you are new to Macintosh, testing a System Sound File (SND) Is easy. Just double-click on the file you want to hear. Then you can decide if you want it befor you install the sound in the system file.
